catching up: Belek 2011

working in the sunset

It’s been a little bit quite here, sorry! Had a freakin’ busy time at work and wasn’t able to spend much time shooting or blogging (there’s nothing to blog when nothing is shot).

I’m sure nobody wants to see classic family-holiday photos here. But since I tried to introduce some kind of street-style to a few shots of our latest vacation to Belek/Turkey, I decided to post a short photographic summary of the trip. At least it’s another step for me to catch up on my photographic queue because I’m processing the digital frames chronologically. So – yes, coming up next: holiday-photographs…

That’s what I shot on this trip so far. But there is a special premier in this post:
This year, I haven’t been the only one with a PEN in Belek 🙂

When I recognized my wife’s incipient interest in photography, I bought her an Olympus PEN Mini (E-PM1) to enable her to develop an own way and style (and mainly to keep her from occupying my cameras). So I’m very proud to present – for the first time – Dani’s sight of the trip:

I like her style (although she is a little bit too much in love with portrait orientation for my taste) and she sees details I often miss…
